Simpliphi Powered 4.5KW Off-Grid Solar

Simpliphi Powered 4.5KW Off-Grid Solar

We designed a comprehensive system that combines 4 x 3.8 kWh SimpliPhi Lithium Batteries in parallel with two separate solar arrays. Phase 1 incorporates 4 x 455-watt solar panels, while Phase 2 is equipped with 6 x 455-watt solar panels.

Challenge:

Design an independent off-grid system tailored for a Tiny Home, capable of supporting year-round, full-time living with all the modern conveniences typically available in a grid-connected environment.

Solution:

Selecting the optimal battery chemistry and integrating it seamlessly with cutting-edge technologies to create a comprehensive, end-to-end system was our mission. Our client had a Tiny Home en route to their lakeside property, and while anticipating its arrival, we meticulously planned and installed a self-sustaining power solution that enables them to embrace the serenity of nature while enjoying all the modern amenities typically associated with grid-connected locations.

Two Phases:

This project was executed in two phases. Initially, we implemented a system consisting of 2 x 3.8 kWh SimpliPhi Batteries, 4 x 455-watt solar panels, a Magnum Inverter Charger, and a Midnight Solar Classic Controller. However, the client later chose to enhance their setup by incorporating an additional 6 solar panels and 2 more SimpliPhi batteries, resulting in a robust and comprehensive power solution.

First Phase:

Second Phase: We designed a comprehensive system that combines 4 x 3.8 kWh SimpliPhi Lithium Batteries in parallel with two separate solar arrays. Phase 1 incorporates 4 x 455-watt solar panels, while Phase 2 is equipped with 6 x 455-watt solar panels.
